Asleep in the Sun - Hans Walter Silvester

Synopsis:
The third and most ravishing volume in Hans Silvester's bestselling photography series -- presents cats stretched across a bright doorway, curled into a sun-baked corner, and rolling lazily against one another. These languid animals glow in Silvester's masterful portraits. 150 color photos.

What I think:
The pictures in here are wonderful. You definitely get the impression that Hans Silvester is a patient man to wait for great shots of these independent cats. And he loves cats!

Cats in the Sun - Hans Walter Silvester

Synopsis:
An international favorite since its original publication in Spring 1994, this collection of enthralling, full-color photos portrays an array of serendipitous and thoroughly charming cats against a backdrop of the beautiful Greek Isles. This volume combines the romantic beauty of the Mediterranean and the delightful behavior of felines.

What I think:
This, like the one above, is an awesome book! Beautiful pictures which I never get tired of looking at. Great for the coffee table.

Adopting Cats and Kittens : A Care and Training Guide - Connie Jankowski

Synopsis:
Jankowski gives advice on routine care needs, feeding, grooming, required veterinary attention, house manners, and how best to deal with a cat that has been abused or neglected. Both a helpful how-to and a frank examination of pet overpopulation today. 10 photos and 40 line drawings.

The Artistic Cat - illustrated by Derold Page

Synopsis:
A collection of full-color paintings accompanied by appropriate quotes and verses celebrates the beauty and diversity of the feline.

Aspca Complete Cat Care Manual - Andrew T. Edney, Roger A. Caras

Synopsis:
Comprehensive and eminently practical, this indispensable handbook covers every aspect of tending to a feline--from daily essentials to crisis management. In step-by-step, specially commissioned photographs and authoritative text, veterinarian Edney provides lucid, detailed information on caring for a cat--the most popular pet in the U.S. 600 full-color photographs and illustrations throughtout.

The Quotable Feline - Jim Dratfield (Editor)

Synopsis:
For fans of felines and connoisseurs of photography, here are 45 exquisite portraits--combining candor and wit with painterly, soulful dignity--of cats young and old, smiling and morose, affectionate and aloof. Each is accompanied by an apt quotation drawn from a variety of the most articulate celebrators of the cat.

What I think:
As you can see, I love books that have photos of cats. This one also includes relevant quotes about the beloved feline.

The Cats' House - Bob Walker

Synopsis:
The Cats' House is a beautiful tour of the ultimate cat-friendly home. Illustrated throughout with dynamic color photos, the book tells how a simple plan to build a room divider transformed a typical tract home into a playful feline jungle gym: 10-feet of brightly colored aerial walkways carry calicoes overhead, spiral staircases and giant scratching posts let tomcats move from floor to ceiling height at will, and creative peepholes let tabbies spy on activities in other rooms. Readers will love the strong architectural design, the vibrant photographs, and the refreshing philosophy that cats have a natural right to pleasure and to a stimulating environment.

What I think:
This is a fun book! I wish that I could build my house like this for my cats (of course my cats run the house anyway!). This house is located near San Diego and is open to the public once or twice a year. I'm going to try and visit sometime soon.

Kittens In The Sun - Hans Silvester

Synopsis:
Over 150,000 people the world over have fallen in love with his work. Now best-selling feline shutterbug Hans Silvester is back with Kittens in the Sun. The subjects here are as playful, adventurous, and cute as they come, captured against the stunning backdrop of the sun-drenched Greek Isles. These kittens exhibit a precocious pugnacity that is not to be rivaled. As they spat, bat, and loll in the sun, Silvester is there to catch every irresistible moment. This deluxe pocket volume is perfect for cat lovers, Grecophiles, and anyone who simply wants to be transported to a place where azure blue, sun-baked white, calico, and tabby are the colors of choice.

What I think:
Another great book in a series from Hans Silvester. Wow, I just never tire of his photography, his books or the kittens. What a terrific book - a natural follower to his books Cats in the Sun and Asleep in the Sun.
